Hi Cheah,
ReplyDeleteI am always very happy to hear my foodie friends said that a dish brings back fond memories because there are so many that do that for me. I realize as I grow older, those memories of my past seems to take a more prominent place in my heart than I was younger. It is so good to see you again.
Taucu sliced with chili what a healthy recipe. Did you know that chili pepper have been a part of the human diet in the Americas since at least 7500 BC.And chili pepper have also been associated with fat-burning properties. Thermogenics like capsaicin pump up the metabolism of the body and stimulate its ability to burn fat by generating heat.
ReplyDeleteHi elpi,
ReplyDeleteIt is so good to see you and thank you for the info about chilli! I am a chilli head but did not know that they are associated with fat burning properties. I wonder if this is why I don't really put on much weight even how much I eat. I must have a small plate of bird chilli (chilli padi) everyday with my meals.
just love it! :D
